About Jack Betz

Hello, my name is Jack Betz, and I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. I lived there for 18 years before moving to Huntington, West Virginia to attend Marshall University. Before college, I went to Princeton High School in Sharonville, Ohio, where I ran Track and Cross Country all four years. Even though I grew up in Cincinnati, Huntington always felt familiar to me. My dad is a Marshall alumnus, and he brought me to football games throughout my childhood, which helped me build a connection to the university long before I became a student.

My high school athletic experience led me to continue running in college, which became one of the main reasons I chose Marshall. Here, I study Marketing and Sports Business and will be graduating in May. My academic experience has allowed me to explore both the creative and analytical sides of marketing while gaining a strong foundation in business strategy.

My professional background includes an internship with Cincinnati Insurance in the Strategic Innovation Department, where I have gained exposure to research, project development, and organizational strategy. Earlier roles as a lifeguard and DoorDash delivery driver strengthened my responsibility, communication skills, and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments. Together, these experiences have prepared me for a career that combines my passion for marketing with my drive for success.
